On March 4, the selection round of the 2022 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition – 3rd "Joy Fresh Cup" National Barista Vocational Skills Competition (Ningbo Division) – grandly opened at the Ningbo Yesgo Valley Fashion Technology Park.

This competition is the first and only national-level professional competition in China's coffee industry, representing the highest officially recognized honor in the sector.

Shao Yinghao delivered the opening welcome speech. He stated that in Yinzhou, the prevalence of coffee culture embodies the flavor of a "Happy Yinzhou." The Yinzhou Trade Union Council consistently prioritizes talent selection, fostering Model Worker Innovation Studios and industrial worker training bases. This competition, he said, cultivates and discovers skilled elites from various industries, laying a solid talent foundation for a "Happy Yinzhou," a model district.

In her address, Shi Mei expressed that coffee and fashion apparel are both indispensable elements of "fashion imagination" in life. The Yesgo Valley Fashion Technology Park is a national-level innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration service platform integrating fashion design, cultural creativity, technology, and industry. Centered on "Resources + Capital + Service" and upholding the park philosophy of "Professionalism, Sharing, Empowerment, and Win-Win Cooperation," it comprehensively drives the branding and internationalization of the fashion industry for its resident enterprises.

This competition, she noted, is a perfect encounter between coffee and fashion. She hopes that through this cooperation and exchange, more of the fashionable charm within coffee culture can be explored, further uncovering the mutual crossover and integration between coffee and fashion apparel in the realm of style, thereby contributing to the development and innovation of the fashion industry.

The competition is co-sponsored by the Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and the China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center. It is titled by Junlebao Dairy Group Co., Ltd. and organized by Ningbo Yesgo Valley Technology Co., Ltd.
